Travel Music

I have noticed when traveling with other people, teenagers in particular, that the main thing to do is crack out your ipod and start jammin. It makes sense because mp3 players are so popular now. I will tell you, I literally never leave my house without my ipod on me. Mostly because I am tired of listening to the same old junk they play on the radio. But back to personal listening devices, it is amazing how mp3 players can make you feel like the only person in the car even though you may have people all around you. Its weirdly emotional when you are listening to a really deep song while looking at the scenery that passes. Different songs do that for different people, for me its probably some exceptionally lyrical acoustic song. When I am looking out the window I really think about the lyrics in the song and have some deep thinking, which can be a good thing for anybody.

One of the great things these days and for awhile now is you can listen to your own music without bothering those around you. But another point i have heard is when everybody is listening to their own music, then they are missing a good chance to socialize. So take your position, i am going to be neutral and say both are good at certain times. I do not know if you have tried but it is really hard to have a conversation with somebody with ear buds in. You could probably make this argument with people texting and its distraction from the people you are sitting next to. Its definitely not good in my opinion to listen to your music the whole trip wherever you are going. There are tons of distraction these days wherever you go, isolating yourself with music might be one. Don't get me wrong though, music is not bad, I am just talking about when and how you listen. So vote in the poll below about this, I'm sure some of y'all have had this kind of music listening experience. That's all i have to say for now, any promotion would be greatly appreciated.
